We are thankful for the way God has guided and provided from the very beginning. In 2018, God began working in Pastor Robbie McClelland’s heart about bringing the Gospel to a community that needed a Baptist church. At the same time, families in Arlington were praying for the same thing. The Lord brought those paths together, and in 2020, Pastor Robbie and his family moved to Arlington to begin that work.
The church started with a couple of families meeting together in the summer of 2020, and by October, the first official services were being held through in-home Bible studies. In July 2022, God provided the old American Legion building on Main Street, which was purchased and renovated for the church. Our first service there was held on August 7, 2022.
Since then, the Lord has continued to bless our ministry, and our greatest desire has always been spiritual growth. More than anything, we want to see people come to know Christ, grow in His Word, and be strengthened in their walk with Him.
Along the way, God has allowed the church to grow in a number of ways. In 2023, we hosted our first Vacation Bible School and began supporting our first missionary. In 2024, we added monthly small groups, including men’s and women’s Bible studies, a homeschool day, and a teen night. In 2025, we moved our midweek service to Wednesday evenings, placing a greater emphasis on church prayer and fellowship, and began a youth group for teens. On January 5, 2025, Arlington Baptist Church became fully self-supporting after five years of ministry.
In 2026, we launched Whole Heart Ministries, a Bible-based support group offering prayer, encouragement, and Biblical counsel for those facing depression, anxiety, addiction, and other personal struggles.
We are grateful for all God has done, and we look forward to what He will continue to do in the days ahead. We would love for you to be part of what God is doing here at Arlington Baptist Church.

If you’re a believer in the area and looking for a place to worship tomorrow, we’d love to have you assemble with us at Arlington Baptist Church at 10:30am.
There is something sweet about gathering together around God’s Word, lifting up the Lord in worship, and being reminded where our trust belongs. In a world that gives plenty of reasons to be afraid, what a comfort it is to say, “In God have I put my trust: I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” - Psalm 56:4
Come be encouraged in the Lord and in His Word with us tomorrow morning ... See MoreSee Less

What a great morning we had celebrating moms at our annual Mother’s Day breakfast! We enjoyed time together, a special song from the kids honoring their mothers, and a meaningful message reminding us that even the greatest mother in Scripture still needed a Savior. We’re thankful for all the moms and the impact they make every day!

Being in a faithful local church is not optional for the Christian.
1 Corinthians 12:27: we are the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-16: the body is how saints are equipped and grow.
Acts 2:42: they continued in doctrine and fellowship.
Hebrews 10:25: do not forsake assembling.
Do not treat as optional what God made necessary for your growth, worship, and spiritual health. ... See MoreSee Less

Just a friendly reminder that our Prayer Meeting is every Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
Join us as we pray together, then stay for “Bible Story Time” for adults as we get back to the basics and walk through the stories of Scripture together.
Bring the whole family. There are ministries for everyone. The teens are studying through the book of Luke, Kids Club is singing and learning about God. Let’s not make our midweek prayer meeting the part of the week we skip. We’d love to see you there. ... See MoreSee Less
